The international short film festival, Salento Finibus Terrae, is at its 10th edition. 10 years of success and great growth.
Five locations are concerned: Borgo Egnazia at Savelletri, Fasano, Ostuni, Carovigno, San Vito dei Normanni: all in the Brindisi’s province, in Alto Salento, an attractive area in the Apulian region.
This itinerant festival has the characteristic to show the films in unusual places such as squares, castles, manor farms, involving the largest number of viewers. Its aim is to promote young talents of  Italian and international cinema.
Many guests have contributed, from an edition to the other, to witness the success of the young directors awarded for the different sections.
In the 10th edition more than 120 short films are in competition and they come from all over the world; they are divided into the following sections: Human Rights, Animation, Environment, Short World, Short Very Shorts Films, Italian shorts, Around the World.
This year at Borgo Egnazia, Fasano,  there will be a photo exhibition dedicated to the great actor Ugo Tognazzi, and a retrospective exhibition to be held in the Dentice di Frasso’s castle, Carovigno, dedicated to Carmelo Bene, another important actor.
The festival will start on July 25, and will end on August 5.
